As a copywriter, I want to create ads that not only sell products but also advocate for inclusion and diversity. I hope to write advertisements that include diverse actors, and more specifically, disabled actors. Disabled talent should appear not only in advertisements for products that improve accessibility for disabled individuals but also in advertisements for products that are used by everyone regardless of their level of ability.
I hope that creating advertisements that feature disabled actors will help to raise awareness of an often underrepresented community while also showcasing a brand’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
