Since I was a kid watching my retired sign-painter Grandfather effortlessly paint letters, I've known that graphic design was the path for me. I received a BFA in Visual Communications with a minor in Art History from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Since then, I've worked on a range of clients including Microsoft, United Airlines, The U.S. Army, Chevron, George Remus Bourbon, Lockheed Martin, Choboni and Little Golden Books.

The perfect job is a project where communication and respect between designer and client is flowing freely. The creative process of collaboration can be so powerful when you build off of each other's vision with the mutual goal to create something wonderful.
Part of what keeps me so engaged in this career is the never-ending opportunity to gain and polish new skills. I'm eager to deliver that final product that incorporates a little more than the client expects from me. I try to regularly engage in tutorials and exercises that challenge my skillset and make me a more well-rounded creative.
