I am a communicator and a creator with wide-ranging experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, internal and external print publications, web content and membership recruitment and retention campaigns. I have worked in association management for more than 16 years. I specialize in graphic design, logo creation and publication layout - all of which has helped me thrive in my favorite form of communication: Storytelling. I have managed social media marketing/promotions, spearheaded a statewide annual volunteer event and produced branding guidelines. I strive to find new ways to present engaging content and explore the unique aspects of humanity.

How do you continue to grow your professional skills?
As a lover of great design, I'm constantly staying connected with industry news in any way I can. I love following inspirational Instagram accounts that do great design (@JoinSelfMade, @designcrush, @boldviewmedia, @lookhuman and more). I listen to creative-focused podcasts as well as a variety of websites like Design Milk, Design Cuts, Creative Review - the list goes on! But what I love most is bouncing ideas off my other designer friends, who I respect 100%. Design ain't easy!
How have you benefited from mentors in your career?
My mentors have not just taught me how I want to present myself professionally and personally, they have also opened my eyes to what I don't want to be. These are some of the greatest lessons we can learn about ourselves.
