No. I haven't. I began my career as a digital Videotex artist in the pre-internet days. I then transitioned to advertising and spent several years as an advertising Art Director for local and national accounts. From there, I began as a design provider to smaller agencies, and then, over time, I began servicing clients directly. I have also spent a few years working in film and TV art departments for movies and TV series.
I've been fortunate to work with very seasoned art directors and designers. Some have over 30 years of experience (like I have now). They were designers who predated computers and, in one case, even predated felt pens! They taught me to look more carefully, consider every aspect of the page, and always design and create with the consumer at the forefront of our minds. They could draw, write, create beautiful comps and present like PT Barnum.
