About me

Hey! I'm Celeste.

I'm a self-taught graphic artist in the Southeast Houston area. My church had a need for a graphic refresh and so, I grabbed my laptop, downloaded Photoshop, and got to work learning what this graphic design world is all about. I am now the Media Coordinator at my local church and run the socials, communications, and Sunday presentation.

My experience ranges from church event graphics, social graphics, and sermon/message presentations to informational pamphlets, booklets, posters, banners, graphic tees, and more. While my focus is mainly on church and ministry graphics, I've also had the pleasure of creating small business logos, wedding invitations, graphic shirt designs, and more. I enjoy the process of fleshing out ideas and seeing them come out on the blank canvas in front of me.

My attention to detail and passion for creativity will help me with your next project and I would love the opportunity to create that with you!

Why do you love doing what you do?

I find that many people look at the blank space in front of them and get intimidated with creatively translating that idea onto that canvas. But, for me, that's what I love to do. Take an idea and make it come to life. Sometimes it looks like what I thought it would from the beginning, but most often, it ends up being something completely different and yet entirely better than what I originally thought it would be.

And that's what I love doing for others. Creativity is my game. And for others, it's just not. And that's okay.

I like being that middle man for your ideas. Fleshing out what's in your head and translating it onto a blank canvas to create something that you can share with the world for your business or blog or whatever it may be. And whatever it is, it will be great

What does the perfect job look like to you?

My perfect job is what I do.

Creating.

Storytelling.

Detailing.

I love being able to sit down at my computer and get paid to do what I love to support someone else's dream or what they love doing by creating art through graphics, logos, etc.

One big reason I decided to take my skill and start doing it as a job was so I could have the flexibility to be home with my kids. My family is my number one priority, so to be able to do what I love and do it in a way that keeps them first - goodness, this is it. So, I'm doing the perfect job. And it's thanks to clients who trust me with their ideas so I can support them in doing what they love to do, too!
