I'm Devin, the person behind Devine Designs, LLC. As a Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, Brow, and Lash Specialist, I assist clients from all backgrounds in preparing them for any special occasion. I am confident in my artistry choices to help my clients feel and look their best both in front of the camera and in real life. Makeup should never feel like a mask and I am constantly innovating my kit to find new ways of reaching that in-real-life glamorous feeling my clients aspire to have when they come to me.

Why do you love doing what you do?
As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a makeup artist. I would work to save money and then buy makeup. I would sit at my vanity and teach myself how to do makeup. I would play with makeup almost every night after school.
I look at faces and bodies as a canvas and love to put my art on them. Everyone is different and unique. I love to make every person feel beautiful, confident, special, and catered to.
Have you always been independent? What has your career trajectory been?
I was a manager at Ulta while I was in cosmetology school. I graduated from school, passed my state board exams, and received my cosmetology license in November 2015. I transferred from management to the Benefit Brow Bar. I built up the business and had full books very quickly. I was at the top of sales and product releases as well. I quickly realized how much money I was making for Ulta and knew I could put that hard work in for myself. I started Devine Designs LLC in August 2016, just 7 months later.
