With over 28 years of experience as a dedicated high school counselor, I have recently retired from my position and embarked on a new journey to provide personalized college consulting services to students like you.

Recognizing the need for individualized attention and tailored guidance, I established the College Guidance Consulting Service. My mission is to empower students and their families by providing comprehensive support, personalized strategies, and unwavering advocacy to ensure a successful college admissions journey.

What does the perfect job look like to you?

The perfect job for me would be an Educational Counselor or College Admissions Advisor specializing in working with High School juniors. In this role, I would have the opportunity to guide and support students through the crucial process of finding the perfect college fit.


My responsibilities would involve:


1. **Individualized Counseling:** Providing one-on-one counseling sessions to understand each student's academic strengths, interests, and aspirations. This personalized approach would allow me to tailor advice and suggestions based on their unique needs.


2. **College Exploration:** Assisting students in researching and exploring a wide range of colleges and universities. This would involve evaluating academic programs, campus culture, extracurricular activities, and other factors that contribute to a well-rounded college experience.


3. **Test Preparation and Academic Guidance:** Offering guidance on standardized test preparation, helping students enhance their academic performance, and advising on course selection to ensure they meet college admission requirements.


4. **Application Process Support:** Assisting students in preparing strong college applications, including writing compelling personal statements, assembling portfolios, and providing guidance on letters of recommendation.


5. **Financial Aid and Scholarships:** Advising students and their families on financial aid options, scholarship opportunities, and helping them navigate the complexities of the financ
