About me
From an early age, Kimi has been detail-oriented, focused and determined. These qualities lend themselves well for the profession and entrepreneurial adventure that chose her. Kimi has worked in Human Resources at a college for over 10 years. Her work has been described by her supervisors as, "rarely with error," and she is reliable, punctual, and exceeds expectations always.
An "extroverted introvert," she thrives on a busy day followed by peace and quiet. Kimi describes her college education as, "literally learning how to read people." Kimi has a 9-year-old daughter, Ellie Jo, who keeps her very busy with extracurricular activities. In her free time, Kimi enjoys reading, working out and running, traveling, cooking and baking, organizing her living spaces, and her passion: investing and consulting in real estate. Kimi and her soulmate, Justin, own and self-manage a successful STR in Scottsdale, Arizona.

How do you continue to grow your professional skills?
With an insatiable thirst for learning, I am consistently showing up to trainings, conferences and courses to work on myself. I also have 4-10 virtual and in-person masterminds per week so I can encourage others and learn how to grow and improve myself. The best way to learn is to jump right in, and I always put action behind goals. I prefer structure, but I'm a self-starter, which leads me to seek like-minded individuals when I feel myself getting side-tracked. I surround myself with people whom I admire and aspire to grow in their likeness. It's never too late to improve, and being a self-manager of my short-term rental 1,400 miles away, there's little room for error, so I'm a master of my time, placing value where it belongs and humbly accepting responsibility when I falter.
What is the latest project you completed?
In October of 2021, I invested in a real estate mentorship program. Together with my boyfriend, we purchased a condo in Scottsdale, Arizona and it is owned by our LLC. We've successfully self-managed it and operated in profit margins from day one! Our first quarter in business, we netted over $7.5k! We bought the condo in Scottsdale because we love it there, and we wanted to have our money work for us instead of work for our money. Now we have a fabulous, modern home that we can vacation at several times per year, and open it up for others to enjoy when we are not there - while we make a profit. It's been a huge success, and you'll be hard-pressed to find other real estate investors who jump right in and self-manage a STR from 1,400 miles away SUCCESSFULLY like we did!
