I created The OG Creative in 2019 after rebranding the concept of my marketing agency for the 100th time. My intention was to create a platform that provides small business owners with the resources and guidance to start a new or grow an existing business.
Over the years, The OG Creative has assisted dozens of small business owners in achieving their business goals. We stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and business tools that you can use to be successful in a competitive market.

Why do you love doing what you do?
I enjoy using my artistic, creative, and logical skills to think of an idea, execute a plan, and see that idea come to life. It's very fulfilling to be able to use what I already know and learn new skills along the way. I'm like a sponge, and I get excited when I have the opportunity to learn something new. It's a challenge that I welcome, and it's another way for me to stay sharp within the marketing industry.
I fell in love with marketing and the logistics of creating and running a business when I was 15 years old. I was privileged with the opportunity to take business classes in high school, and since then, I've been able to work in various industries with great entrepreneurs.
Have you always been independent? What has your career trajectory been?
No, but I have been able to work as a freelancer during my free time outside of my day-to-day jobs. As a kid, I started braiding hair and babysitting. I was a photographer at a famous department store photography studio for my first official job, and that's where I learned how to develop my sales skills.
Over the years, I was able to work as an event planner and host, marketing coordinator for various industries, sales representative for prestigious companies, radio personality for several shows, and more. I went to school for my master's and became Salutatorian of my Master of Science in Entertainment Business program, one of my proudest moments.
Now, I'm in a position where I can work for myself using the skills I developed over the years. I'm still a student of my craft, so I'm learning more and more every day. Being in the position to pass along my knowledge and proven strategies to help others succeed is a small part of my purpose as a digital marketing expert.
