I am Petula Fairclough-Bradford, and my journey in customer service began in 2016 at a renowned restaurant in Jamaica. This experience laid the foundation for my career in the dynamic contact center (BPO) industry. From my role as an agent to my ascent as a trainer and development specialist, and finally to an esteemed position as a team lead/supervisor, my journey has been marked by unwavering commitment and a steadfast determination to elevate every interaction.

My main values include a dedication to excellence and ensuring every interaction is of the highest quality. The experience I have gained from frontline roles to leadership has made me a professional and equipped me to handle diverse customer and client needs.

Have you always been independent? What has your career trajectory been?

Throughout my career, I've been driven by a passion for customer service and a commitment to excellence. Starting from humble beginnings in a renowned Jamaican patty restaurant, I quickly rose through the ranks, gaining experience as an agent, trainer, and team lead/supervisor. This journey led me to found Premier Customer Solutions, where I continue to prioritize exceptional service and innovative solutions for businesses worldwide.

As for your question, while I've always been driven and proactive in my career, I wouldn't say I've always been independent. I've certainly developed independence over time as I gained experience and confidence in my abilities. My career trajectory has been one of growth and progression, marked by continuous learning, adaptability, and seizing opportunities for advancement. From my early days in customer service to founding my own company, each step has contributed to shaping me into the independent professional I am today.

What makes me uniquely special is my people-first attitude and unwavering commitment to customer service excellence. I genuinely prioritize the needs and satisfaction of others, which helps me build strong relationships. My friendly approach, empathy, and willingness to listen make me not just a good communicator, but also a trusted advisor to those I trained and helped. This focus on people guides everything I do, whether I'm delivering top-notch service or leading my team. It's this mix of empathy, authenticity, and dedication to putting people first that makes me stand out in the customer service industry.

Why do you love doing what you do?

This job chose me, and I couldn't be happier about it. I've always found joy in helping people and solving problems, which is why I've dedicated nearly a decade to customer service. From my beginnings as a dispatch agent to my roles as a trainer and team lead, I've thrived in dynamic environments where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
