I am a digital growth specialist and photographer specializing in helping vegan and sustainability-oriented businesses set up their online presence for success. I do everything from email list automation to SEO to social media. In addition to a master’s degree in marketing, I also run the travel blog Voyaging Herbivore for several years and use my experience to help others build popular and successful websites.

What is your primary focus as an independent professional?
Creating Scotland and UK-based content to inspire people to travel to the UK! I love working with small businesses to create content that helps them grow.
What makes you uniquely special?
I combine both the practical knowledge with the educational background. A lot of what I do is based on my experiences based on running my own travel blog, but I am also getting my master's degree so I can use both my practical experience and my educational knowledge to help my clients.
How do you keep the creative fires burning?
I am driven and inspired by what other people are doing. Whether that's on TikTok, Instagram, or a beautifully designed website, I will bookmark it and try to emulate it or learn from it. But alternatively, I have found that I benefit from taking time away from the computer to take a walk and then suddenly those creative fires are burning strongly again.
Who inspires you?
I’m greatly inspired by the places that I visit and the people that I meet along the way. I enjoy connecting with fellow creatives through social media and enjoy exploring new sights with them. These discussions and the places we see always inspire me to keep learning!
Why do you love doing what you do?
I absolutely love the organization part of building a successful digital presence. I truly enjoy the process of helping clients take their web presence to the next level. I have been passionate about veganism and sustainability for a very long time and being able to help other businesses in that work gives me extra motivation and drive.
Have you always been independent? What has your career trajectory been?
I spin quite a few plates and love it! I work as a photographer in Edinburgh, run the marketing department at a company I love, and run my travel blog.
How do you continue to grow your professional skills?
Over the past few years, I’ve found such joy in online networking events and societies that curate different educational webinars. Everything from sustainable travel resources to more in-depth SEO knowledge is offered and provides so much value. A few recent professional development courses I have attended include:
