I work with women-owned small businesses or businesses in the start-up phase to develop their brand and build their online presence.

I take time to understand the voice and values of my clients so that we can create the best possible brand. I have been a small business owner myself and I know the unique challenges and opportunities that are present.

I am constantly looking at new ideas and other people's work to stay inspired. I spend hours scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram to get inspiration.

I really enjoy helping small business owners achieve their dreams. I always dreamed of starting my own business, so I can relate to other small business owners who are passionate about reaching their goals for their companies.

I learned a lot about digital marketing while working for a marketing agency as a project manager. I worked my way up and got more responsibilities. By the time I left, I was part of the main management team that was focused on growing the agency itself. I missed the hands-on approach of working directly with clients, so that's why I decided to leave and be independent.

I take advantage of a lot of the free courses available from Hubspot, Google Academy, and similar places. I have been spending a lot of time on Clubhouse recently learning from leading experts in the field.

I have a lifelong friend of mine who is a bit older than me and she's always been like an older sister to me. She also works in design and marketing and she has helped me a lot professionally. She was a huge support for me when I decided to go independent.

There's a woman-owned plant store located in Orange County, California. She had started her business entirely on Instagram in 2020 and she was looking to create a Shopify store to streamline her process. She was also doing local delivery and needed help streamlining that process as well. I worked with her to create a website that represented her brand that would resonate with her audience. I helped set up the local delivery through Shopify and then I helped her develop an Instagram advertising strategy.

I'm currently working on a project that's called AskYourGirls. My client wanted to create a platform where women could share their stories and passion projects. I built out a site where women can create profiles, promote their products and services, and share their stories through blogs and videos. I helped her with the website, branding, and Instagram and I'm really excited to see the community that it creates.

I love working with somebody who is really passionate about their project and is looking for someone to work on the pieces they don't necessarily understand. Ideally, it would be a collaboration and a team effort throughout the project.

I enjoy building out Shopify stores, designing websites, and social media management.
