Hadley Slucher

I help people solve problems and elevate their brand with tasteful, eye-pleasing solutions. I do this by aiding them in the graphic design of their brand assets and materials and creating tasteful, user-friendly, and easy-to-maintain websites.

Unlike many individuals who choose one area of focus, I have a knack for the creative design aspect of digital branding and the technical side, including website coding, such as HTML and CSS. I am uniquely qualified to help clients achieve form and function on their websites and branding materials.

I follow other creative types and tech wizards to inspire and challenge my knowledge of design and digital best practices. I’m continually drawing inspiration from other graphic artists, such as Milton Glaser and Harold Apples. I also research and read the latest marketing and digital trends in publications like Web Designer News.

I am passionate about helping others achieve breathtaking transformations—taking uninspiring and unattractive products and transforming them into something beautiful and inviting that better serves their brand. I also love the freedom that comes with creating a brand entirely from scratch and seeing the enthusiasm and excitement it generates for the client.

While I didn’t start as an independent, I slowly gravitated toward it. I got my start in graphic design but took it upon myself to seek boot camps and opportunities outside of work to learn more HTML, front-end JavaScript, and more. In this way, I’m a self-starter who strives to be a well-rounded digital marketing professional.

I have always sought out boot camps, newsletters, articles, and other resources to develop new skills and stay abreast of new trends and best practices. I also work hard to foster professional relationships and networking opportunities.

I was fortunate to have a college professor who took me under his wing and supported me in my professional endeavors. He believed in me and helped advocate for opportunities that would further my professional growth.

I’ve enjoyed working with various individuals in several industries, from a photographer who needed to create her website to a social media company that needed help to develop a new site and update their branding. I’ve also helped friends and local artists with branding a concert series and web design.

I would say my work on the concert series has been a meaningful project to me in that I created their branding from scratch with little guidance. I single-handedly shaped the identity of this successful concert series and am very proud of that.

My ideal job is working with a client who understands the value of visuals and has a shared interest in presenting themselves uniquely and creatively.

I enjoy working on projects covering everything from branding, web development and design, and anything else in the graphic design realm that helps the client promote their brand in the best way possible.
