About me

I have a keen eye for detail and a deep penchant for making words pretty. I enjoy taking what I see and making it better - no matter what medium I'm currently working with. I've even ghost-written a book or 2. I enjoy all things artistic which include writing, painting, drawing, and even crafting.

However, my favorite thing to do is to curl up with my laptop and watch documentaries and old movies with the subtitles on.

What's the best way for someone to reach you for a collaboration or project opportunity?

The best way to reach me is via email. However, I'm not opposed to someone sliding in my DM's on social media. So long as you state the nature of your "slide".

What is your primary focus as an independent professional?

I'd say that the most pertinent part of being an independent professional for me is consistently getting better at what I do. That includes me reading a lot, writing a ton, and getting into spaces where I'm surrounded by other creatives. I feel there is much to benefit from collaboration.

What kinds of projects are you open to?

I'm open to most editing and proofreading projects. I'm particularly fond of the larger manuscripts (50,000 words or more). I enjoy reading stories whether fictional or not because it gives me glimpses into the mind of the author.

What does the perfect job look like to you?

The perfect job would be one where I get to write or create for months on end. Like... maybe a ghostwriting gig where I had to write something within 6-8 months. I would just hide away and let my imagination run wild - and my keyboard.

What is the most significant (to you) project you have worked on?

I've had so many jobs that meant a lot to me. If I had to choose, I'd say the most significant project that I've worked on, I assisted a client in writing a book on the stages of grief. It was almost therapeutic because she was still processing through grief while we were writing. It turned out to be a great book and one I am very proud of.
