My name is Mathew. I'm a Software Engineer who specializes in iOS app development with Swift. I enjoy working on projects that have positive impacts on the world, such as healthcare, education, and much more.
I am based in Salt Lake City Utah, and am open to remote and hybrid workplace software roles or projects. My most recent job was working as a Software Engineer for Microsoft.

What kinds of projects are you open to?
I'm open to a wide variety of software areas, but my specialties are in iOS development (Swift and SwiftUI), Unity3D, C#/ASP net core and react. Most importantly, I want The projects I work on to be meaningful and affecting positive change. Some of my favorite projects I've worked on have been medical therapy based projects, helping children with cancer remission, or epilepsy symptoms etc. I find I do my best work when I know the project I'm working on will go to do something good for people.
What is the latest project you completed?
I worked on many projects when I worked at Microsoft this last year, none of which I am allowed to discuss the details of, but I worked a lot with C# and react there.
Before Microsoft, I worked on a project creating a music streaming website and game for children with epilepsy. I also did a startup iOS app company with a colleague in college, developing an iOS app from start to finish as the sole developer, which gave me a very good start to finish experience of iOS app development.
Further back, I worked on a 6 year project developing a game to help treat young cancer patients in the remission phase of treatment in the hospital.
