Have you always been independent? What has your career trajectory been?
I was a Fine Art / Graphic Design major at William Paterson University and graduated with a BFA. While still in school, I landed a job at a Graphic Design studio at a local print company. I went on to become a Marketing Manager at an international electronics company for a few years until a friend told me about a job opening at NBC Universal. I jumped at it! I got the job and worked for CNBC/MSNBC for 23 years. I loved what I did and made a great group of friends. Eventually, I decided it was time to branch out and try new things so I made the plunge into the world of freelance, and never looked back.
Who are some of the clients you have worked with?
I have had the pleasure of working with NBC Universal, CNBC, MSNBC, CBS News, ABC News, and Suze Orman. I've also collaborated with many highly talented authors, filmmakers, entrepreneurs and art directors around the globe.
How do you continue to grow your professional skills?
I'm constantly seeking out new opportunities to grow my skills by networking with colleagues in my industry on social media and elsewhere. I also invest heavily in my talents by frequently taking classes at School of Motion and other educational resources.
What makes you uniquely special?
I am passionate about what I do. I love most forms of creativity and am constantly striving to express myself in new ways. I love to draw, animate and model in 3D. I'm friendly, upbeat and easy to collaborate with.
