Introduction

Thank you for contacting me. I put this proposal together based on our conversations.

Here are a few quick observations:

  • Paula Clemons wants to increase their Instagram following from 12,000 to 100,000 and their TikTok following from 6,000 to 25,000.
  • Jacob Clark will review the current content, suggest the most relevant subjects/hashtags to target, and create a publishing timeline with ideas for each channel.
  • Jacob Clark will review the published content, content plan, and audience feedback every two weeks and make recommendations.

As you continue through this proposal, you will see how my Social Media Consulting services can help you meet your goals and your deadlines.

Why Jacob Clark for Social Media Consulting services?

My work enables influencers like you to focus on what they enjoy most: creating brilliant content. I’ll suggest ideas, review previous content, and research your target audience so we find the perfect content mix for your goals.

Here are some testimonials from previous clients:

  • Jacob Clark was great to work with. She looked at my previous work, made suggestions about how to create more shareable content, and then devised a plan for me that saved me hours of guessing and thinking of what to create.
  • Jacob Clark is a brilliant professional. She really understood what my content is all about and helped me create new ideas for the next six months. My views and likes have already increased by 25% in the first three months.

My clients value my professionalism, commitment to deadlines, and the results I give them.

Project description

Based on your information, Paula Clemons want to increase your Instagram and TikTok followings. You’re already making content regularly, so the key parts of this strategy are all about research, tweaks, and aligning your content with your audience carefully to get the best results. We’ll proceed in a few phases:

  1. Content review: The first phase will be when I binge watch loads of content to see how you’ve been producing content and what it looks like. After a few sessions, I’ll put together a report we can discuss to find ways to improve your content.
  2. Audience research: One key to success on social media is realizing your content probably won’t appeal to everyone. So you find your audience and then create content that suits them.
  3. Content planning: Much of social media content is spontaneous. However, we plan chunks of content for the days when ideas don’t seem to be flowing. With a plan in place, you can always add extra, but you’ll never be without something to create any day.

Once we start pushing out new content, I’ll review your channels and metrics every two weeks to see how they are doing. Audience feedback (likes, shares, follows, and comments) will all be considered.

Objectives

Here is the plan for how my Social Media Consulting services will meet your goals. Let me break down the specific targets and how they will be met.

  • The content review phase should last less than two weeks. During this time, I’ll be reviewing and watching loads of your content to really understand what you’re all about. I’ll also be checking in on the comments sections to see what people are saying about your content.
  • Once I’ve prepared a report, we’ll meet to talk it over. The goal of this phase is for me to give you some feedback and then for us to come up with an action plan together for how to create more content and grow your channels.
  • Once the plan is in place, I’ll also create another content plan. This will be full of ideas of things you could create to build your channels. Many clients use these plans as the backbone for their content creation and then add in extra videos, pictures, and posts when they have new ideas.

Any adjustments to the plans can be made by sending me a message via the Slack channel or by email at jacob.clark@gmail.com.

Deadline and deliverables

I am committed to meeting your deadlines and delivering quality Social Media Consulting work on schedule. Here are the milestones for this project:

  • The initial review and report should be completed within the first two weeks of launching the project.
  • We’ll schedule our review meeting together. The meeting itself shouldn’t take more than an hour. However, many clients have found it useful to receive some notes first, meet, think, and then meet again to talk some more.
  • The next phase is simply to continue creating content. You’ve already been doing great. After the feedback sessions, you’ll be in an even better position to make fantastic content. During this phase, I’ll review the channels every two weeks and suggest tweaks we can make to improve results.
  • In the two weeks following the feedback sessions, I’ll produce a content planner for you. Many clients find these extra ideas super helpful and use them as a launching pad for many new content ideas.

My services have a reputation for organization, follow through, and prompt delivery. I take pride in this reputation and look forward to delivering exceptional results for Paula Clemons.

Payment terms

Projects such as this one run for several months before they finish. To facilitate these projects, I offer a schedule of payments. Here are the payment milestones:

  • An initial payment of __________ will be due upon signing the contract and before any work begins. This is payment for the work done during the review phase.
  • A further payment of ___________ will be due once the content plan has been delivered to the client.
  • A normal schedule for the review phase is allowing 3 hours per week. This will be billed every two weeks at $60 per hour. Any work required beyond this will be added and billed at $60 per hour.

Electronic invoices will be sent once the contract has been signed and milestones passed. Each invoice is payable within 10 business days of receipt. Late payments may result in suspension of work and/or late fees as specified in the contract.

Social Media Consultant Proposal Template FAQ

What is a Social Media Consultant proposal template?

A proposal template is a document you can prepare in advance to help speed up your writing process. When ready, simply customize the old with relevant and useful info for your potential client.

You can boost your chances of winning a client's business by sending them an attractive, clear proposal. This will put you miles ahead of any other competition in bidding for their work

When you are creating a proposal, having the right template will ensure that it looks professional and contains all the necessary information. It should include topics like previous clients' positive feedback or examples from other projects you've completed to give your client an idea about what they can expect when working with you.

To save time and make your proposals look more professional, create a proposal template that will be used for every new project. By having the same level of design quality in each proposal, you establish yourself as an expert brand while making a great impression on clients you want to win.

How to write a Social Media Consultant proposal template?

In just a few easy steps, we will show you how to create your own Social Media Consultant proposal template.

First, you need a few things:

  • You’ll be using a document editor. You could use a separate app such as Word, Google Docs, Adobe InDesign, or Pages.
  • Indy's Proposals tool is a great way to create your proposal for clients because it integrates with the rest of your workflow. It also links up to client records and job contracts while monitoring time spent on each assignment you work on.
  • You should also have access to any external files or media you want to include. For example, you will want your logo and pictures of landing pages you have already finished.

Now that you have those things, you can begin writing your Social Media Consultant proposal template.

To make a strong proposal template, look at an example of one that's already done well. If you have examples from previous proposals on hand, note what information is reusable and then use those as your guide for copying or rewriting it in the new document. For instance, if there are customer success stories included with the first one, include them when making your new template.

If you don’t have a completed template, then Indy's proposal can automatically create one for you so that all the content is ready to edit.

Here are the basic steps:

  1. In your new proposal template, add your company information and branding.
  2. Review the sections in the template and add or remove sections as you need them.
  3. Add information to each section. Focus on what you can reuse for every client.
  4. Once you have added all the reusable information, save your work.

That’s it! Your new proposal template is finished.

When creating a proposal, it's important to make note of any information that is missing. Once you are done with your proposal, go back and add the template so this process becomes easier in the future.

What should be in a Social Media Consultant proposal template?

While consultants are often hired for their creativity, they must still maintain a professional tone in all work. Your proposal should be creative and persuasive to show prospective clients you're knowledgeable about the industry.

Here are the elements we think you should include in every Social Media Consultant proposal:

  • Beautiful Cover Page. There's no excuse for a boring cover page; first impressions count!
  • Service Description. This section will go over the scope of your project with specific details so that there are no surprises in costs or timeframes when working together on a long-term basis. It's important to be clear, concise, and professional about how you plan to accomplish your client’s goals.
  • Social Media Consultant Process and Milestones. In this section of the proposal, it is crucial to let them know exactly what will happen and when. The client should also be aware which tasks you'll take on with their business in mind.
  • Social Proof. Let your portfolio shine to demonstrate the quality of work you produce. Showcase testimonials, case studies and feedback from past clients so that potential employers know they can expect high-quality work from you.
  • Costs and Pricing. Once you have established a strong connection with your client and they are confident hiring you, show them your prices.

From here, you can wrap up the proposal template with next steps the customer can take. These can include:

  • A digital signing service for making the approval process happen much faster.
  • A standard contract your client can review. Your contract can reference your proposal to make the client-specific sections relevant.
  • You can also include a payment method here to help your client get started quickly.

Your proposal shows you have the skills, experience, and abilities to meet your client’s targets. Once you reach the end, your potential clients should be ready to sign up. Be sure to follow up your proposal with a quick email or phone call to ask for questions.

How can a free Social Media Consultant Proposal Template help you win more clients?

The secret to winning more clients as a freelancer is to build your client’s confidence in your abilities. Proposal templates helps you do this in a few ways:

  • The pace of business is increasing. You can show your efficiency by preparing proposals quickly. After you finish the discovery call with your client, customize their proposal in 10-20 minutes. They will be impressed by your preparation and quick response.
  • A customized proposal template will entice clients and give you a professional look. In addition to this, customizing the email or document so that it looks good sets you apart from others who send plain emails or unattractive proposals.
  • A proposal template can save you countless hours of time and allow you to go find even more potential clients. Imagine if turning the template into a live proposal took just fifteen minutes, what would you use that saved time for?

Those are three ways your proposal template can help you land more jobs. Get started with one as soon as possible to begin reaping the benefits.
